The best, very good...

Very Good!

I prefer it over the book!

Harriet lane

Always good Some diseases are missing Some fluxograms are dificult to read Very good book for drugs and references Recomended

The Harriet Lane Handbook

Good for quick reference on the floors.

Not great

The information is good, obviously, but the app itself is put together poorly. It is very poorly formatted on the iPhone, with tables and figures being difficult to read. Search functionality is awful, basically only works for specific names of figures and entire chapters, not topics within each chapter. Too much money given the poorly formatted app. And of course, doesnt fit the entire screen on the iPhone 5.

Un confidence

My experience with this company is not the best. It is again a problem opening the content. The slogan "confidence at your fingertips" has become untruth. Having access to medical information in reliable fashion is fundamental for the professional. As a physician, not being able to open the content consistently is frustrating. 2 weeks after the purchase, I am not able to open the content and look up a drugs in the formulary or open a chapter. Nothing opens. I had the same problem wit a different app in the past. I thought it was bad luck. The recurrence makes the "un confidence at my fingertips" slogan more realistic. Sad but true

Good content but waste of technology

Its a book. But no cross reference or spelling recognition etc

Good content, bad outdated design

The app cost 55$, I have to have high expectations for the price. The contents of the book are good and handful for review. the search function is nice although it can be better. Now about what needs so much improvements. The resolution just fuzzy and ugly on my iPhone 6 plus (which unacceptable for such high price). The content orientation on the screen is bizarre, especially when a table appears, you scroll right and left on empty spaces just because a table filling in the middle. For the price I expect high level design and ease of use, which already free apps like medscape already provide. In Summary, good book, lousy app design.

Useful when accessible

Sometimes inaccessible with no wifi but very useful resource

Still lacking

I tried to look up normal sodium levels for neonates. It has none listed for under 3 years of age. The book printed book does though.

Pediatric dosage calculator

In the past Harriet Lane provided a pediatrics dosage calculator for each drug. This application does not, which is disappointing.

Comes in handy…

Hospital Pharmacist for over 30 years, have been using Harriet Lane all this time. This is my go to reference for checking drug doses for kids. Handy to have on my phone.

The best!

Very useful one, the best friend in duty!

Harriet

Excellent! I use ir every day! Great source of information. And so handy to have it on your phone!

Great resource

Use daily. Love the ability to save favorites and search. Formulary and expanded drug search great addition. Indec is still not complete and would love more search power for simpler terms that are not already indexed or on table of contents. Overall thougb improvement on last two apps and invaluable day to day

Do not buy!

I totally agree with another reviewer. I bought the previous version for $60 and because the developer did not update this app I can no longer access the content. If I had purchased the book instead I would at least have access to the questions I look up the most! I will never purchase again from Unbound ever again.

Can’t open

I bought this app 2 years ago and they haven’t updated it so it won’t open after the IOS 11 update. I think they want us to shell out another $60.

DO NOT USE UNBOUND, DO NOT BUY

I have had many of their products in last few years at about 60 an app. iOS 11 comes along and they are the ONLY app publisher that didn’t update their product to work in iOS 11. Their solution - rebuy every app to the updated iOS app. I bought the standalone non subscription app to prevent downstream costs with a huge upfront cost. Egg on my face huh. Unbound had 2 years to update all their apps but chose to gouge their customer base!
